Celebrating 20 years of the Contemporary Glass Society.
Come and experience the magical colours, textures, use of light and wide variety of techniques used by glass artists. This exciting exhibition celebrates twenty years of the Contemporary Glass Society – an international organisation that supports and promotes the work of glass artists, collectors and glass lovers. It is part of a series of exhibitions that are being hosted around the country between 2018 and 2020.
The exhibition will showcase the work of 39 glass artists from this region and will demonstrate the glorious and diverse nature of contemporary glass. Many of the works on display will be for sale.

There will be an associated programme of events including glass workshops for families and adults at various studios, a Forum Day at the museum on 16 March with four glass artist speakers contributing to a day of discussion, information sharing and networking, and a Glassmakers Fair of affordable pieces on 23 March.
