Aylesbury is 25 minutes off the M25 via the A41. Driving from the M25 – leave the motorway at junction 20 and take the A41 to Aylesbury & Hemel Hempstead. Follow signs to Aylesbury and, once in Aylesbury, to the town centre.

Driving from the M40 – leave the motorway at junction 8a and take the A418 to Aylesbury. Follow signs to Aylesbury and, once in Aylesbury, to the town centre.

Parking

We advise visitors to park in a town centre car park, such as Exchange Street car park HP20 1QY, a short, signposted walk from Market Square to the Museum situated in the old part of the town near St Mary’s Church. There are also other nearby long and short stay car parks, such as Friars Croft Car Park next to Morrisons on A413, with a short walk up the hill turning left into Church Street to reach the Museum.

Aylesbury is an hour by train from London Marylebone. The train station is a short walk from the Museum, follow the signs to the Market Square. From here it is a short walk to the Museum, which is situated in the old part of the town, near St Mary’s Church.

The Bus Station is situated very close to Market Square. From here it is a short walk to the Museum, which is situated in the old part of the town, near St Mary’s Church.
