David Hill, a Victorian Soldier

100_2299
Your class will create their own mini ‘patchwork’ cushions inspired by an amazing patchwork rug made by David Hill, a Victorian soldier from Bucks, during the Indian Mutiny. As well as learning the soldier’s story, your class will look at how he made the rug, and the use of shapes and patterns.
