Casual Workshop Leaders – Applications now closed

We are seeking talented and committed people to join our Learning Team on an ongoing casual basis from September 2017.

Based at Bucks County Museum in Aylesbury, you will be primarily delivering the popular schools workshops in the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery to educational groups of all ages and abilities, as part of the Learning Team. When appropriate you will also deliver schools workshops in Bucks County Museum. You will also work with our team of Learning Volunteers and on occasion work experience students. You will act as the public face of the Museum, ensuring that all visitors have a high quality and engaging learning experience. You will also ensure that the schools and families are able to interact in a friendly, relaxed and fun way during the various workshops and activities. In addition, it will be your responsibility to ensure the security, safety and cleanliness of the spaces used to deliver these workshops and activities. Previous experience of educational work with children, good communication skills and the ability to inspire children are essential for this role.

The posts are casual but there is the possibility that contracted hours may be available in the near future.
