The Patrons help fund the exhibition programme of the County Museum. Since opening in 1995, the Museum has held nationally important exhibitions, and it is the intention to continue this ambitious programme.
By supporting the Museum’s art collection, the Patron’s help to preserve works for future generations. A fine sketch book of watercolours by William Callow was the first conservation project funded with the help of the Patrons. Recent purchases made with the help of generous grants from the Patrons include a watercolour by David Jones and a 15th century gold lozenge.
