Bucks Museum Pride

We welcome our LGBTQ community to join us for Bucks Museum Pride with LGBTQ entertainment starring UK’s famous drag king Adam All and West End star and drag queen Topsie Redfern.

This is an LGBTQ event – all welcome including straight allies. Free event supported by the Arts Council but all donations for our charity welcome.

Programme:

5.30pm: Visiting museum ground floor galleries and LGBTQ displays;  write your own display label, donate your coming out stories and make your own pride badge
6pm: Museum Director, Sue Shave and Community Outreach Officer – Welcome
6.10pm: Andy Lamb, Bate Collection, Oxford – personal stories
6.15pm: Dr Clara Barker – transgender issues
6.25pm: Adam All and Apple Derrieres – Drag King performance
6.55pm: Visiting museum ground floor galleries and LGBTQ displays;  write your own display label, donate your coming out stories and make your own pride badge
7.20pm: Topsie Redfern  – Drag Queen performance
8pm: Finish

There will be a paid for bar available for the evening with tea, coffee and cake on offer.

If you are fortunate enough to look very young, please ensure that you bring your ID with you for alcohol

There is no set charge for the evening event but we would be grateful for donations for our charity on entry. Please book your place in advance with the form below.
