A major new addition in 2016 to the displays at the County Museum in 2016 is the McDowall collection of Neo-Romantic paintings. The collection comprising over 100 works of art mainly from 1930 to 1960 reflect a lifetime’s collecting by Frances and Nicholas McDowall and is deposited with the Museum on long loan from the collection  trustees. Click here to learn more and see some items from this collection.
